Dr. Mark Owens graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1976, and went on to get his optometric degree from the Southern College of Optometry in 1980. After graduation, he joined his father, Dr. Shelton Owens, in practice in Fulton, KY., until 1984. In 1984, he moved to Paducah and began practice with Dr. David Tucker and Dr. John P. Lyles. In 1992, Dr. Owens and his partners continued to expand their practice by forming Doctors Vision Center, and moving to a new location at 1748 Broadway. Dr. Owens is a member of the American Optometric Association, and Kentucky Optometric Association. He has additional training in the medical management of pre- and post- operative refractive surgery cases. Dr. Owens resides in Paducah with his wife and their two children.
